Polish stories for bilingual children, starring your child.
Illustrated stories in Polish with your child's name and face, for families who speak Polish at home and English everywhere else. The app talks to you in English; the story is read in Polish — by a narrator, by you or by a grandparent.

Polish stories for bilingual children: what you get
What you get, who can read it and what we don't promise.
What you get
- A story entirely in Polish, with a hero who has your child's name and face. An English name works too — in the Polish text it takes Polish endings, like any Polish name.
- Polish settings and legends: in “Legenda o smoku wawelskim” your child outwits the dragon by Wawel Castle. There is also the detective series “Biuro Zagadek” and fairy tales such as “Kot w butach”.
- Narration in Polish: a Polish narrator, you or a grandparent, in a voice recreated by a digital voice model. The text on screen follows the reading.
- The app in English: menus and buttons stay in English, even if you read Polish less confidently than you speak it.
- Story time on the big screen: cast the story to the TV or a projector and follow the pictures together.
What we don't promise
- We don't promise progress in Polish. It is an illustrated story for the evening, not a course — a chance to hear Polish at home.
Voice: where the recording lives and how to delete it
We treat voice recordings as biometric data, so here is plainly what happens to them.
- Recording: two samples of 45–90 seconds each, recorded live in the app by the person whose voice it is. That person records the samples themselves and confirms their consent themselves.
- Storage: the samples are stored encrypted in the European Union. Only the service that creates narrations can decrypt them, and every such access is logged.
- Voice model: created by Eleven Labs Inc. (USA), a speech synthesis company. It receives the recordings and the story text, never an email address, and does not train its models on them. The model stays with them until you delete it.
- Deleting: delete the samples and the voice model at any time in Settings → Your voices. Finished narrations stay in your library unless you delete them together with the voice. If you delete your account, the voice is gone after a 30-day archive period.
- Labelling: every narration is labelled as synthetic content — a voice recreated by a digital model, not a recording of someone reading.
How a Polish story with your child is made
Add your child.
Type their name the way you say it at home — an English name is fine — and create a hero who looks like them.
Pick a Polish story.
A ready-made one, such as “Legenda o smoku wawelskim”, or your own idea in a few sentences, like a summer at the grandparents'. It is written in Polish in a few minutes.
Switch on narration.
A Polish narrator reads it, or a familiar voice: yours, or a grandparent's once they have recorded their own samples.
The story stays in your library, for bedtime or the TV.

Questions about Polish stories
Yes, if they record it themselves. They read two short texts aloud in the app — on a visit, for example — and confirm their own consent. Ready-made files aren't accepted: samples are recorded live. You can delete the voice at any time in Settings → Your voices.
No. These are illustrated stories in Polish, not a course, and we don't promise progress in the language — just a chance to hear Polish at home and talk about the story.
Some are. “Legenda o smoku wawelskim” takes place by Wawel Castle and the Vistula. You can also describe your own story — Christmas Eve (Wigilia) with the family, say — and it is built around your description.
